Salary Positions
Volunteer Services Director
Essential Function: Develops, implements and oversees the volunteer program.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Resource and Director's Teams, maintain communication with all Directors, staff and team members and works to fulfill the needs, priorities, goals and objectives of those teams.
- Recruit, train and retain a diverse base of volunteers.
- Assist and guide program directors in their efforts to utilize volunteers.
- Provide both structured and informal communication with volunteers and agency staff.
- Update as necessary all volunteer program policies and procedures.
- Organize an adequate number of training sessions per year.
- Maintain volunteer database.
- Coordinate volunteer social events and annual recognition events.
- Assist in fundraising and special events.
- Develop and monitor relationships within specific communities including, but not limited to, other non-profits, faith-based organizations, corporations, and private business.
- Assist with community education efforts and other duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer.
- Provide staff back-up for direct client service work including answering hotlines, intakes and crisis counseling.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of undergraduate and graduate-level interns.
- Assist with the collection and maintenance of client data for statistical and programming purposes.
- Cover monthly on-call rotation
- Attend regularly scheduled staff and team meetings.
Special Skills and Education:
- Acceptance of and respect for agency philosophy, mission and values.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as communications, business administration, or human services. Master's degree preferred.
- Three years experience supervising volunteers.
- Experience and ability to respond in a supportive way to people in crisis.
- Familiarity with the network of social services including children's services, welfare, mental health, and criminal justice agencies in the Williamson County area.
- Experience in independent job structuring.
- Ability to work as a team member, providing support as well as constructive feedback in interpersonal interactions.
- Sensitivity to various cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds, values, attitudes, and languages.
- Demonstrated experience and excellent skills in interpersonal communication, public speaking, and staff development.
- Research-orientation.
- Adequate personal health, social maturity, and emotional stability to fulfill the functions of the position.

Law Enforcement Victim Advocate
Essential Function: Act as law enforcement liaison, planning and overseeing orientations and training on issues related to domestic violence and sexual assault. Provide advocacy, case management and crisis intervention services to nonresident clients.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- As member of the Outreach Team, maintain communication with all Directors, staff and team members and work to fulfill the needs, priorities, goals and objectives of that team.
- Provide advocacy, case management, crisis intervention, follow-up, and referrals in-person and on the hotline to primary and secondary victims. Meet with clients in WCCC office, shelter, hospital, police station and other locations as needed.
- Work with other agencies, including acting as the law enforcement liaison, in order to serve the best interest of agency clients.
- Informally assess the emotional, physical, social, and educational needs of clients, formulating individualized service plans and weekly goals.
- Plan and oversee regularly scheduled law enforcement orientations and training on topics related to domestic violence and sexual assault.
- Facilitate house meetings and support groups as needed.
- Assist with the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers/interns.
- Assist with the collection and maintenance of client data for statistical and programming purposes.
- Report any incident of child or elder abuse to the Department of Public and Regulatory Services and appropriate WCCC staff.

- Familiarity with the network of social and legal services available in Williamson County area.
- Sensitivity to various cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds, values, attitudes, and languages.
- Ability to work as a team member, providing support as well as constructive feedback in interpersonal interactions.

Sexual Assault Structured Ed Coordinator - Part Time (28 Hours/Week)
Essential Function: Coordinate education/prevention services provided by Hope Alliance to area elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and universities.(November 1st, 2006 - June 30th, 2007)
Salary: $13,066
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Sexual Assault team, maintain communication with all Directors, staff and team members and work to fulfill the needs, priorities, goals and objectives of that team.
- Coordinate/conduct structured education programs in the school districts of Williamson County.
- Develop and evaluate current educational curriculum
- Participate in transition of educational materials towards primary prevention
- Maintain and expand school administration contacts, structured education curriculum, and structured educational services to children, adolescents, and adults.
- As needed provide intake, case management, crisis counseling, follow-up and referrals in-person and on the hotline to primary and secondary victims.
- Work with other agencies, including but not limited to acting as the liaison for all educational agencies in order to serve the best interests of clients.
- Assist with the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers/interns.
- Assist with the collection and maintenance of client data for statistical and programming purposes.
- Report any incident of child or elder abuse to the Department of Public and Regulatory Services and appropriate Hope Alliance staff.
- Attend staff and team meetings when possible.
- Assist with community education efforts and other duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer.
Special Skills and Education:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field such as human services, or equivalent life experience.
- Two years experience working with children and adolescents.
