Provides relief to victims of disaster. Helps prevent, prepare for, and respond to an emergency. Offers health and safety courses and disaster team training.

Crime Victim's Compensation Program Victim line 1-800-983-9933

This program is administered by the Texas Attorney General's office and is set up to compensate innocent victims for out of pocket expenses related to personal injury as a direct result of a violent crime. This may include assistance with medical, hospital and funeral costs, lost wages, as well as counseling expenses directly related to the victimization.

People Against Violent Crime Hot-line 837-7282

Provides victim advocacy, peer and support groups for crime victims, technical assistance, court accompaniment, crisis hotline, information and referral.
